The coordinated 'Operation Checkmate' involved agencies from the U.S., UK, EU, and Ukraine, alongside cybersecurity firm Bitdefender. This action targets a group with direct ties to the Conti syndicate, now suspected of rebranding yet again as 'Chaos' ransomware.
