The U.S. intelligence community (IC), comprising 18 agencies including the CIA and NSA, was "caught off guard" by China's rapid advancement, admits Senator Mark Warner, vice-chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
The New Intelligence Frontier
Today, both nations are locked in a high-stakes race to weaponize generative AI for espionage. Intelligence agencies experiment with LLMs for:
