Email API provider Resend has acquired Briefer, an open-source data analytics platform founded by Elastic and ML infrastructure veterans. The acquisition aims to integrate Briefer's petabyte-scale data processing capabilities into Resend's infrastructure as it scales to handle billions of emails weekly. Briefer's entire codebase will be open-sourced before sunsetting in November 2025.
