Two Analog-Digital Models Lead the Premium Range

The two higher-end models in the collection feature analog-digital displays, positioning them at the premium end of the lineup. The GM-110YRA-8JF, based on Casio's popular 110 series, measures 51.9 × 48.8 × 16.9 mm and weighs 106 g. Its counterpart, the GM-2100YRA-8JF, adopts the slimmer 2100 series case design at 49.3 × 44.4 × 11.8 mm and a lighter 84 g. Both models share identical specifications including resin cases with stainless steel bezels, soft-touch silicone bands, 20-bar water resistance, shock resistance, and an estimated three-year battery life. Casio has priced both analog-digital models at ¥40,150 (approximately $260) including tax.

Digital-Only Models Offer More Affordable Options

The digital-only variants provide slightly more accessible pricing while maintaining the collection's signature aesthetic. The GM-5600YRA-8JF measures 49.6 × 43.2 × 12.9 mm and weighs 76 g, while the larger GM-6900YRA-8JF comes in at 53.9 × 49.7 × 18.6 mm and 107 g. Both feature the same stainless steel bezel and resin case construction, along with 20-bar water resistance and silicone bands. However, these digital models boast an extended five-year battery life compared to their analog-digital siblings. Pricing for these models is set at ¥37,400 (approximately $242) including tax.

Consistent Features Across All Models

Regardless of which model buyers choose, Casio has equipped all four watches with a comprehensive set of features. Each watch includes mineral glass protection, white LED backlighting for visibility in low-light conditions, full auto calendars, multiple alarms, countdown timers, stopwatches, and world time support. True to the G-Shock heritage, all models incorporate standard shock resistance, making them suitable for demanding environments and active lifestyles.

The collection's defining characteristic is undoubtedly the red-tinted display that runs across all four models. This distinctive visual element sets these watches apart from traditional G-Shock offerings while maintaining the brand's rugged appeal. The combination of stainless steel bezels with the bold red display creates a premium yet sporty aesthetic that should appeal to both G-Shock enthusiasts and those seeking a statement timepiece.

While Casio has confirmed the February 2026 release date for the Japanese market, international availability details have not yet been announced. Given the global popularity of G-Shock watches, these models are expected to reach other markets in the months following their Japanese debut.

The Fine Metallic collection represents Casio's continued innovation within the G-Shock lineup, offering consumers more premium material options while maintaining the durability and functionality that have made the brand a staple in the watch industry for decades.
