Oppo's Find X9 Ultra flagship is nearing release with new details emerging about its display and battery specifications, though some features may change before the final product launches.

The Find X9 Ultra is edging towards being released. In recent weeks, Oppo's next Ultra-branded flagship has been spotted several times undergoing public testing. Now, Yogesh Brar has shared several Find X9 Ultra specifications ahead of the device's official launch.

Writing on X, the leaker claims that these observations come from an Engineering Validation Test (EVT) unit. For reference, EVT units are relatively early prototypes with Design Validation Tests (DVT) and Production Validation Tests (PVT) prototypes to follow. As a result, some elements may have changed before Oppo finalised Find X9 Ultra production.

For instance, Brar asserts that Oppo had been prototyping the Find X9 Ultra with a 1440p and 144 Hz OLED panel sourced from BOE. However, the leaker expects retail units to match other flagships like the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $769 - refurbished on Amazon) with a 120 Hz refresh rate instead.

Brar also indicates that the Find X9 Ultra prototypes feature 7,050 mAh batteries. Incidentally, this capacity would be much smaller than the circa 7,500 mAh battery that an Oppo executive hinted at back in December.

Currently, the Find X9 Ultra is anticipated to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 before the end of March, with a global launch to follow a few months later.
