Ai+ Smartphone, an emerging Indian brand, expands its ecosystem with three new NovaPods earbud models and three NovaWatch smartwatches, alongside announcements for upcoming Pulse 2 and Nova 2 smartphones.

Ai+ Smartphone, a relatively new Indian smartphone brand, has expanded its ecosystem with the launch of new accessories including the NovaPods earbuds and NovaWatch smartwatches, alongside announcements for its upcoming smartphone lineup.

NovaPods Earbuds Series

The company introduced three distinct models in its NovaPods series, catering to different price points and user preferences.

NovaPods Clips

Priced at INR 3,999, the NovaPods Clips represent the premium offering in the lineup. These earbuds feature a unique clip-style design that sits around the pinna (outer ear), allowing users to maintain awareness of their surroundings while listening to audio. This design approach is particularly useful for outdoor activities or situations where environmental awareness is crucial.

NovaPods Pro

At INR 1,999, the NovaPods Pro offer a more traditional in-ear design with advanced features. These earbuds come equipped with 40dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a six-microphone array, making them suitable for users who prioritize immersive audio experiences and clear call quality. The six-mic setup typically enhances noise reduction during calls and improves voice pickup in various environments.

NovaPods Go

The most affordable option at INR 699, the NovaPods Go is a basic model designed for budget-conscious consumers. Despite its lower price point, it offers a combined 24 hours of battery life when used with the charging case. The earbuds feature 10mm dynamic drivers, which are relatively large for earbuds in this price range and should provide decent audio performance.

NovaWatch Smartwatch Series

Ai+ also unveiled three smartwatch models under the NovaWatch brand, each targeting different user segments.

NovaWatch Wearbuds

This innovative device combines a smartwatch with built-in wireless earbuds, offering 2GB of internal storage. The integrated design eliminates the need to carry separate earbuds, making it a convenient option for users who want an all-in-one wearable solution.

NovaWatch Active

Featuring a 1.73-inch squircle AMOLED display, the NovaWatch Active focuses on fitness tracking capabilities. The AMOLED display ensures vibrant colors and deep blacks while being power-efficient. This model includes all the typical fitness tracking features one would expect from a modern smartwatch, such as heart rate monitoring, step counting, and various sport modes.

NovaWatch Kids 4G

Designed specifically for children, the NovaWatch Kids 4G includes child-friendly features such as two-way video calling, 4G voice calling, and real-time GPS location services. These features address parental concerns about child safety and communication, making it a practical choice for families.

Upcoming Smartphone Lineup

Alongside the accessories, Ai+ announced its upcoming smartphone series, which includes the Pulse 2 and Nova 2 models.

The Pulse 2 is positioned as an affordable device featuring a 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera setup. It will be powered by a substantial 6000mAh battery, addressing one of the most common pain points for smartphone users. The device will run on NxtQuantum OS, which is based on Android 16, offering a relatively recent version of the operating system.

The Nova 2 series was also mentioned but with fewer details provided at this stage.

Availability

The NovaPods and NovaWatch devices will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting February 27 at 12PM IST. The Pulse 2 smartphone is scheduled to launch on March 2, with the Nova 2 series arriving at a later, unspecified date.

This launch represents Ai+ Smartphone's strategy to create a comprehensive ecosystem of devices that work together, similar to approaches taken by larger manufacturers. By offering a range of products across different price points, the company appears to be targeting various market segments within the Indian consumer electronics market.
