The Oppo Watch X3 Mini is confirmed to be in development, likely featuring a smaller case and display than its larger sibling.
Another leak has surfaced confirming the existence of the Oppo Watch X3 Mini, the smaller companion to the recently unveiled Oppo Watch X3. The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known leaker who has revealed a handful of upcoming Oppo products that have been registered. Among them is the Oppo Watch X3 Mini, which appears to be following in the footsteps of last year's Oppo Watch X2 Mini.

The Oppo Watch X2 Mini (pictured) is getting a successor.
While no technical specifications or features have been provided for the Oppo Watch X3 Mini, we can make a few educated guesses based on the X2 Mini. The smaller model should feature a reduced case size that houses a smaller display compared to the standard X3. It's also likely to ship with a smaller battery capacity, as the overall dimensions will be more compact.
There's also the possibility that the X3 Mini might miss out on some health tracking features or use less-premium materials for its build to differentiate it from the flagship model. This would be consistent with how other manufacturers approach their smaller smartwatch variants.

The Oppo Watch X3 Mini might launch under the OnePlus brand.
As for availability, there's currently no information on when the Oppo Watch X3 Mini will be announced. However, an earlier report suggested a potential release in April. It's also unclear if the device will be available outside of China.
Interestingly, there's a precedent for cross-brand availability. The Oppo Watch X2 Mini is also sold as the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm in some markets. This suggests there's a chance the Oppo Watch X3 Mini may be sold under the OnePlus brand as well, potentially as the OnePlus Watch 4.
The confirmation of the Oppo Watch X3 Mini is significant for consumers who found the standard X3's 1.5-inch display too large. If you're interested in the new X3 but prefer a more compact form factor, this smaller variant could be worth waiting for. As with all leaks, take this information with a grain of salt until official announcements are made.
