Casio has expanded availability of its G-Shock GA-2100CM series camouflage watches to the UK market following their initial Japanese release. Two models – the GA-2100CM-5A and GA-2100CM-8A – are now offered through Casio's UK online store priced at £119 each. These hybrid watches combine Casio's signature shock resistance with distinctive military-inspired aesthetics.

The GA-2100CM series features a full camouflage treatment across both the resin case and integrated strap, achieved through metallic printing technology. This differs from standard GA-2100 models by applying the camo pattern across all resin components rather than just accent elements here. Both versions maintain the Carbon Core Guard Structure – Casio's proprietary construction method where a carbon fiber-reinforced case core is encapsulated in shock-absorbing resin. This maintains the 200-meter water resistance rating while reducing overall thickness compared to traditional G-Shock designs.

Color differentiation defines the two UK models: The GA-2100CM-5A uses lighter beige, gray, and khaki tones, while the GA-2100CM-8A employs darker charcoal gray with reddish-brown accents. Both feature monochrome black dials with contrasting white indices and hands. Functionally identical, they include world time support covering 31 time zones, 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, full auto-calendar, and LED backlighting. Casio specifies approximately three years of battery life from the CR2016 cell.

Notably absent from the UK launch is the GA-2100CMD-8A variant sold in Japan. This model differs by extending the camouflage pattern onto the watch face itself rather than keeping a solid black dial. Casio hasn't clarified whether this third variant will receive wider international distribution.

Positioned as lifestyle watches blending urban fashion with G-Shock's outdoor durability, these models compete with similarly priced field watches from Timex and Citizen. The camouflage finish introduces visual distinction without compromising the series' functional advantages: legibility remains strong thanks to bold hands and indices, while the 48.5mm case maintains the GA-2100's slimmer profile compared to bulkier G-Shock models.

UK buyers receive free standard shipping (2-4 business days), with express delivery available at extra cost. Casio hasn't announced release plans for European or North American markets, making the UK store the primary purchase channel for Western buyers currently. At £119, these sit approximately £30 above standard GA-2100 models, positioning them as premium variants within Casio's analog-digital hybrid range.
