Dreame has expanded its charging accessories lineup with the launch of the Life 165W Power Bank with Built-in Cable in China. This marks the company's second power bank release, following the Air Power 17 Magnetic Portable Power Bank from a couple of months ago.
The new power bank distinguishes itself with a built-in retractable USB-C cable that supports up to 100W output. In addition to this integrated cable, the device features a standard USB-C port with identical 100W maximum output and a USB-A port capable of delivering up to 33W. The total combined output reaches 165W, which can be distributed between two devices charging via USB-C at a 100W:65W split.
Power delivery is handled by a 20,000mAh battery that Dreame claims will maintain at least 80% of its capacity after 500 charging cycles. The power bank supports 65W USB-C input for recharging, allowing for relatively quick replenishment of its substantial battery capacity.
One of the standout features is the integrated TFT display that shows the remaining battery level. This display operates in an always-on mode and includes a ring graphic that visually indicates both the remaining battery percentage and the current charging output. This provides users with clear, at-a-glance information about the power bank's status without needing to press any buttons.
In terms of physical design, the power bank features a silver-colored aluminum alloy casing. The dimensions measure 156.0 x 52.8 x 40.8 mm (approximately 6.14 x 2.08 x 1.61 inches), and the device weighs around 505 grams (about 17.8 ounces). This makes it relatively compact for a high-capacity, high-output power bank, though the weight is noticeable.
Pricing for the Chinese market is set at CNY 399, which converts to approximately $58. This positions the power bank competitively within the premium portable charging segment, particularly considering its high output capabilities and integrated cable feature.
Currently, it remains unclear whether Dreame plans to expand the availability of this power bank beyond China. The company already has a presence in other markets, including the United States, where it sells smart home products such as the L40 Ultra Gen 2 Robot Vacuum and mop, currently priced at $499.99 on Amazon.
