Amazon's Kindle Scribe (3rd generation) and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft are finally coming to Europe in April, with prices starting at €519.99/£449.99 for the standard model and €649.99/£569.99 for the color version.
After a six-month wait since their US launch, Amazon's Kindle Scribe (3rd generation) and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft are finally coming to Europe. The E Ink tablets, which combine reading with note-taking capabilities, will be available in Germany and the UK starting April 8, 2026.

The Kindle Scribe (3rd Generation) features an 11-inch glare-free display with improved writing experience and comes with a battery-free premium pen included in the box. In Germany, the device will be priced at €519.99 for the 32GB model and €569.99 for the 64GB version. UK pricing starts at £449.99 for the base model, though the 64GB variant's price hasn't been confirmed yet.

The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, Amazon's first color E Ink tablet, brings color to the reading and note-taking experience. German customers will pay €649.99 for the 32GB model and €699.99 for the 64GB version, which comes in two colors: Graphite and Fig (exclusive to the 64GB model). UK pricing for the Colorsoft starts at £569.99, with the 64GB price still unknown.
Both devices include the premium pen with extra replacement tips, but notably require users to provide their own charger. This follows a growing trend among tech manufacturers to reduce e-waste by excluding chargers from the box.
While the devices are now listed on Amazon.de, pre-orders aren't yet available. The UK Amazon site hasn't listed the products yet, making it difficult to compare exact pricing between regions.
The European launch fills a significant gap for Amazon's E Ink tablet lineup, as the devices have been available in the US since their announcement last year. The timing suggests Amazon is now ready to roll out its latest E Ink technology across its major European markets.
For those interested in the standard Kindle Scribe without front light, Amazon has indicated this version will be released later in 2026, though no specific date has been provided.
The pricing positions these devices as premium offerings in the E Ink tablet market, competing with products from Remarkable and other digital note-taking solutions. The inclusion of the premium pen and the choice between standard and color displays gives consumers flexibility based on their needs and budget.
