Brave, an Indian tech company, has launched its first device - the Brave Ark tablet. This large Android tablet features a 12.95-inch 144Hz LCD display, a massive 14,550mAh battery, and a unique Desktop Mode that supports resizable windows and external displays.

Brave, a new company headquartered in India, has just launched its first device - the Brave Ark tablet. This large Android tablet combines a sizable 12.95" 144Hz LCD display with Android 15, which features a custom Desktop Mode. The USB-C port allows you to add a second display to the mix, and this Desktop Mode supports fully-resizable windows for advanced multitasking.

The Brave Ark is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is an older but still fairly fast processor. It features a 4nm process, using Cortex-X4+A720+A520 cores and an Adreno 735 GPU. There is only one configuration available at the moment with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, but there is a microSD slot if you need more storage.

One of the standout features of the Brave Ark is its massive 14,550mAh battery. This is among the largest we've seen yet, and it's even more impressive since the dual-cell battery fits inside a 7.6mm body. The battery supports 33W USB-PD charging, which should provide plenty of power for extended use.

The Brave Ark is designed for work and study, and the company offers a matching keyboard that snaps on magnetically and uses pogo pins for a physical connection. The keyboard does have an AI key, which is becoming increasingly common on modern devices. Additionally, the display supports the Ark Pen stylus, which tracks at 240Hz with sub-10ms move latency, can recognize 4,096 levels of pressure, and can detect tilt angles over 50°. The stylus is battery-powered and uses a magnetic attachment similar to the keyboard.

For entertainment, the Brave Ark has 8 speakers with DTS Audio on board, including 4 woofers and 4 tweeters. This should provide a rich audio experience for watching videos or listening to music.

The Brave Ark tablet is available on Amazon India for ₹35,000 (12/256GB unit). The first 200 customers will get the keyboard for free, but it is otherwise sold separately. The stylus is included in the standard package, as is a case and a charger. There are two other cases available - a shock-resistant case and a TPU leather case with a built-in kickstand.

The Brave Ark is an interesting entry into the Android tablet market, with its large display, massive battery, and unique Desktop Mode. It will be interesting to see how it compares to other tablets in its price range and whether it can gain traction in the competitive Indian market.
