Early hands-on footage of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has surfaced online, revealing major design upgrades including physical controls and a built-in LED floodlight, suggesting an official launch may be imminent.

The long-awaited launch of the Osmo Pocket 4 appears to be almost upon us. While DJI has said nothing yet, recent leaks have all but confirmed that the company has prepared the Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Pocket 4 Pro as alternatives to the ageing Osmo Pocket 3 (curr. $439 on Amazon). Now, early hands-on footage showing the Osmo Pocket 4 has turned up online.

As far as we can tell, the footage was initially published on Instagram by Drones Kaki. A Malaysian retailer, Drones Kaki posts about all things DJI and Insta360. Apparently, a customer brought in an Osmo Pocket 4 to show Drones Kaki. Consequently, it sounds like an official launch is right around the corner. Please note, we cannot verify whether this actually occurred. Regardless, the video looks authentic and not generated. Thus, we have every reason at this stage to believe that this is the Osmo Pocket 4's final design.

To that end, the additional physical controls from prior leaks are visible. Additionally, it seems that the Osmo Pocket 4 comes with a built-in LED floodlight as standard. From the video below, this LED light appears to be movable via two hinges, one behind the LED light itself and another at the bottom of its arm. Moreover, the video teases 'SuperPhoto', a camera mode that shares its name with one GoPro has offered on its cameras for years. If DJI's software is anything like GoPro's implementation, it will analyse the scene before applying the image processing it thinks is best for that shot.

Exact release details remain unknown for now.
