Samsung's flagship S26 series sees deeper price cuts, while the new Galaxy A57 and A37 face stiff competition from Poco's latest offerings.

Samsung's Galaxy S26 series is getting even bigger discounts just weeks after launch, while the new Galaxy A57 and A37 face stiff competition from Poco's latest offerings.

Galaxy S26 Series Price Cuts Deepen

Two weeks after the initial discounts, Samsung's flagship lineup is seeing even more aggressive pricing. The Galaxy S26 Ultra with 512GB storage is now available for €1,185, down €45 from its previous discounted price. This makes it an even more compelling option for those considering Samsung's top-tier offering.

For those looking at the mid-tier option, the Galaxy S26+ is finally getting its first discount. The 512GB model is seeing a significant price reduction, shrinking the usual €200 gap between storage variants by half. The 256GB version is now €950, while the 512GB model sits at €1,050.

Meanwhile, the base Galaxy S26 has dropped to €800 for the 256GB model, but the 512GB variant at €1,000 represents a price increase from just two weeks ago when it was €870. Unless you need a phone immediately or are comfortable with 256GB storage, waiting a couple more weeks might be wise.

New Galaxy A57 and A37 Launch

The Galaxy A57 and A37 have officially launched this week, with both models offering 256GB storage at the price of their 128GB counterparts - essentially a free storage upgrade. The A37 deal is even sweeter, throwing in 2 extra gigs of RAM on top of the storage bump.

Poco's Snapdragon-Powered Challenge

Unlike last year, the Galaxy S26 and S26+ use Exynos chips - if you'd rather have a Snapdragon, you have options. The Poco F8 Ultra packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a massive 6,500mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its 6.9" OLED display with Dolby Vision and triple 50MP camera system make it a serious contender.

The Poco F8 Pro offers a slightly smaller 6.69" OLED display but still delivers premium features with the older fast Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 6,210mAh battery with 100W wired charging. Its camera setup, while less capable than the Ultra, still impresses with a 50MP main sensor and versatile telephoto options.

For those seeking value, the Poco F7 delivers the next-best thing to a flagship chipset - the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 - paired with a 6,500mAh battery and 90W wired charging. At just €310, it offers tremendous hardware value, especially considering its aluminum frame. That's €220 less than Samsung would charge for an A57 with similar specs.

Budget-Friendly Options

The Xiaomi Redmi 15 rounds out the offerings at just €150, delivering a 6.9" 1080p+ 144Hz IPS LCD display and massive 7,000mAh battery with 33W charging. While not a high-end phone by any means, it represents exceptional value for those prioritizing battery life and display quality over camera performance.

The smartphone market continues to heat up with competition across all price segments, giving consumers more choices than ever whether they're after flagship performance or budget-friendly reliability.
