New leak reveals Google Pixel 10a will feature Gorilla Glass 7i, Bluetooth 6, faster 45W charging, and a €499 starting price in Europe
Google is set to unveil the Pixel 10a on February 18, and while the phone's design has already been officially shown, its complete specifications have remained under wraps until now. A new leak from German blog WinFuture claims to have retailer data that reveals the Pixel 10a will be nearly identical to its predecessor, the Pixel 9a, with several notable upgrades and one potential downgrade.
According to the leaked information, the Pixel 10a will feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz P-OLED display with a 2,424x1,080-pixel resolution and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, an upgrade from the Gorilla Glass 3 used on the Pixel 9a. The device will be powered by the same Tensor G4 chip, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In the camera department, the Pixel 10a will reportedly include a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. The phone will maintain the same 5,100 mAh battery capacity but will support faster 45W wired charging, up from the 23W charging on the Pixel 9a. However, there's no mention of wireless charging support, which was available on the Pixel 9a, leaving uncertainty about whether Google has dropped this feature.
The device will measure 153.9 x 73 x 9 mm and weigh 183 grams, making it slightly smaller and three grams lighter than the Pixel 9a. It will carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and run Android 16 out of the box with seven years of OS and security updates promised.
Color options for the Pixel 10a will include Obsidian (Black), Fog (White/Green), Lavender (Blue/Purple), and Berry (Red/Pink). The pricing information reveals that the 8GB/128GB model will cost €499 ($590/INR53,580) in Europe, while the 8GB/256GB model will be priced at €599 ($710/INR64,315). Interestingly, customers who pre-order the 256GB model will be able to purchase it at the price of the 128GB version.
The leak suggests that while the Pixel 10a won't be a radical redesign, it will offer meaningful improvements in display protection, wireless connectivity with Bluetooth 6, and charging speed. The potential removal of wireless charging could be a point of contention for some users, but the overall package appears to maintain the value proposition that has made Pixel A series devices popular among Android enthusiasts.
With the official unveiling just days away, these leaked specifications provide a comprehensive look at what to expect from Google's latest budget-friendly Pixel device. The combination of the Tensor G4 chip, improved charging speeds, and the promise of seven years of software support positions the Pixel 10a as a compelling option in the mid-range smartphone market.

For comparison, the current Pixel 9a is available at significantly lower prices, with the 128GB model priced at €356.34 and the 256GB model at £377.99 ($449.99), suggesting that the Pixel 10a will represent a modest price increase over its predecessor while offering several hardware upgrades.
