GSMArena gets hands-on with Oppo's latest foldable, featuring a zero-feel crease display, 200MP main camera, and improved multitasking capabilities.

The Oppo Find N6 has arrived at GSMArena for review, and we're taking an early look at what could be one of the most refined book-style foldables yet. After unboxing the device, which comes with a two-piece case, 80W charger, and USB cable, we're already impressed by several key improvements over its predecessor.

Zero-Feel Crease Display

The standout feature of the Find N6 is undoubtedly its "zero-feel" crease technology. While a crease still exists if you're specifically looking for it, the experience of running your finger across the inner display feels remarkably smooth - like the two halves intersect perfectly without any interruption. Oppo achieved this through laser-measuring microscopic differences in hinge depth and applying 3D liquid polymer to even out the hinge mechanism. This isn't just a cosmetic improvement; Oppo claims this should result in higher longevity for the display.

Display Quality

The screens remain excellent, though they're not dramatically different from the Find N5. They're slightly brighter, but the difference is subtle enough that you're unlikely to notice it in everyday use. What matters is that both the cover display and inner folding screen maintain the high quality we've come to expect from flagship foldables.

Performance and Hardware

Powered by Qualcomm's latest top-tier SoC and paired with 16GB of RAM in our review unit, the Find N6 delivers the smooth, fluid performance you'd expect from a flagship device. The phone feels responsive and capable of handling demanding tasks without breaking a sweat.

Camera Improvements

Camera upgrades are significant this generation. The main camera has quadrupled in resolution from 50MP to 200MP while maintaining the same sensor size. This should translate to better detail capture in both good and low-light conditions. The ultrawide camera sees a massive upgrade from a mediocre 8MP to a much more capable 50MP sensor. Both selfie cameras also received higher-megapixel sensors, improving front-facing photography.

Design and Usability

The Find N6 maintains the same comfortable form factor as its predecessor, which is a good thing. It features the largest displays among popular book-style foldables, making it versatile for both closed and open use. The cover screen doesn't feel like a compromise compared to traditional bar phones, while the folding screen transforms into a compact tablet when you need more screen real estate.

When open, the phone feels very sturdy - light and slim, yet reassuringly tight. The build quality inspires confidence, and the device is genuinely enjoyable to hold and use.

Multitasking Excellence

Multitasking remains a strong suit for the Find N6, maintaining the excellent split-screen and app-pairing capabilities that make foldables so productive. The large inner display really shines when running multiple apps simultaneously.

Color Options and Configurations

You can choose between two colors - Stellar Titanium and Blossom Orange - and three storage configurations: 12/256GB, 16/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. This range should accommodate most users' needs, from casual to power users requiring maximum storage.

What's Next

This is just our initial hands-on impression. A full review is coming, but it will take some time to thoroughly test all aspects of the device. We're particularly interested in seeing how the zero-feel crease technology holds up over extended use and whether the camera improvements translate to noticeably better photos in real-world conditions.

The Oppo Find N6 represents a thoughtful evolution of the book-style foldable concept, focusing on refinement rather than radical change. For users who appreciated the Find N5, this model offers meaningful improvements while maintaining the core strengths that made its predecessor appealing.
