Official-looking renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 have leaked, showing a refined design with an oval camera island and minimal bezels.

Following up on the earlier leak showing the Galaxy S26 Ultra from all angles through a 360-degree video, Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) is now back with some very official-looking high-res renders depicting what seems to be the vanilla Galaxy S26. Of course there's a chance it's the S26+ in these images, but based on how much the camera island occupies of the total length, it's a tad more likely it's the S26.

There is, of course, nothing new here, but we are seeing the white color and all of the previously leaked features of the design are reconfirmed - the oval-shaped camera island now encompassing all three sensors and the tiny symmetrical display bezels. The buttons are where you'd expect them on a Samsung, so is the selfie camera, and there's nothing more we can really say.

The main upgrades in the Galaxy S26 compared to its predecessor are expected to be the 4,300 mAh battery and the new chipset - which will be the Exynos 2600 in some markets, but not all of them (North America is apparently getting the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 instead).

These renders align with previous leaks showing Samsung's design evolution for its 2026 flagship lineup. The oval camera island design appears to be Samsung's new signature look, replacing the separate camera modules seen on previous generations. This unified approach not only creates a cleaner aesthetic but may also improve structural integrity and potentially enhance camera performance through better sensor integration.

The symmetrical bezels around the display suggest Samsung is continuing its focus on maximizing screen real estate, a trend that has been consistent across recent Galaxy S series devices. This design choice provides a more immersive viewing experience for media consumption and gaming.

Battery capacity has been a point of discussion among Samsung users, with many hoping for improvements over previous generations. The rumored 4,300 mAh battery represents a modest but welcome increase, potentially offering better endurance for power users. Combined with the efficiency gains expected from the new Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, the S26 could deliver significant improvements in battery life.

The chipset situation continues Samsung's complex regional strategy. While Exynos has historically faced criticism for performance and efficiency compared to Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips in certain markets, Samsung appears to be maintaining its dual-sourcing approach. North American users will likely continue receiving Snapdragon variants, while other regions may get the Exynos 2600, which Samsung is presumably hoping will close the performance gap.

As with all leaks, these renders should be taken with appropriate skepticism until Samsung's official announcement. However, given Evan Blass's track record with accurate leaks, these images likely represent a close approximation of the final product. The Galaxy S26 series is expected to launch in early 2026, following Samsung's typical release schedule for its flagship devices.
