TP-Link's new outdoor security camera combines solar charging, 360-degree coverage, and AI-powered detection in a weatherproof design.
TP-Link has launched its Tapo C630 Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt Security Camera Kit across European markets, introducing a wire-free surveillance solution for outdoor environments. The 3K resolution camera (5MP sensor) features both full-color and infrared night vision capabilities, with a motion detection range extending up to 18.3 meters.
The camera's motorized base enables 360-degree horizontal and 130-degree vertical rotation, automatically tracking movement across its field of view. 
Its AI recognition system differentiates between people, pets, and vehicles, sending categorized notifications through the Tapo mobile app where users can remotely control the camera's positioning.

Pricing starts at £159.99 in the UK and €109.90 in Germany. Italian customers can pre-order through TP-Link's Amazon storefront for €119.99 ahead of its January 29, 2026 release. Availability in additional European countries remains unconfirmed.
