Motorola's upcoming Edge 70 Fusion has appeared in Geekbench results, confirming a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 12GB RAM, and Android 16 support ahead of its official launch.

Motorola's next mid-range contender, the Edge 70 Fusion, has surfaced in Geekbench's database ahead of its official announcement. The benchmark listing reveals key hardware specifications including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset configuration, significant RAM capacity, and the device's deployment of Android 16.

The benchmark records show a processor configuration with eight cores: one performance core clocked at 2.71GHz, three efficiency cores running at 2.4GHz, and four power-saving cores operating at 1.8GHz. This architecture aligns precisely with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 specifications. Interestingly, this conflicts with earlier leaks that suggested the device would use the previous-generation Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, indicating Motorola might be upgrading its hardware strategy at the last minute.

Beyond the chipset, the Geekbench entry confirms the prototype tested features 12GB of RAM and boots Android 16 straight out of the box. This positions the Edge 70 Fusion among the first devices launching with Google's latest mobile operating system, potentially giving Motorola an advantage in software support timelines.
