New 3C certification reveals Vivo's upcoming X300 Ultra will come in two versions - standard and BeiDou Edition with satellite connectivity, plus faster 100W charging.
Vivo's highly anticipated X300 Ultra has surfaced in a new leak, revealing that the flagship smartphone will launch with both a standard version and a special BeiDou Edition featuring satellite connectivity. The device is expected to compete directly with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Find X9 Ultra, and Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra.
According to recent 3C certification documents, Vivo has prepared two distinct versions of the X300 Ultra for its home market. The regular model carries the designation V2547A, while a satellite-enabled variant is labeled V2547DA.
Faster Charging Capabilities
The 3C certification confirms that the V2547A will support up to 100W charging, representing a 10W increase over the X200 Ultra's charging capabilities. This enhancement positions the X300 Ultra as a more competitive option in the flagship segment, where fast charging remains a key differentiator.
Satellite Connectivity via BeiDou Edition
Perhaps the most intriguing revelation is the V2547DA, identified as a BeiDou Edition of the standard model. This version will feature satellite connectivity, leveraging China's BeiDou navigation satellite system. The inclusion of satellite communication capabilities marks a significant step for Vivo, as this technology has been primarily associated with premium devices from other manufacturers.
Market Positioning and Competition
Vivo appears to be positioning the X300 Ultra as a direct competitor to several high-end devices in the market. The leak suggests it will rival the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Find X9 Ultra, while also competing with Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is scheduled to replace the Galaxy S25 Ultra on February 25.
Global Availability Uncertain
While the 3C certification confirms the existence of both versions for the Chinese market, it remains unclear whether the satellite-enabled BeiDou Edition will be available globally. The standard X300 Ultra's international availability has not been confirmed at this stage.
Model Number Clarification
The leak also clarifies previous confusion about the device's model number. While earlier reports suggested the X300 Ultra might be associated with model number V2536A, the 3C certification now definitively links it to V2547A for the standard version.
The Vivo X300 Ultra's combination of enhanced charging capabilities and satellite connectivity options demonstrates the company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of smartphone technology, particularly in the competitive Chinese market.
