Amazfit's Zepp app version 10.0, previously iOS-exclusive, is now available for Android users, bringing a new Badges section that tracks exercise achievements across four categories.

The Zepp app, which powers Amazfit smartwatches, has expanded its version 10.0 update to Android users after initially launching exclusively on iOS in January 2026. This rollout brings several new features and improvements to the companion app that connects to Amazfit's range of fitness-focused wearables.

The most significant addition in this update is the new Badges section, which has been given its own dedicated tab within the app's navigation. Located in the footer between the 'Workout' and 'Aura' tabs, the Badges feature allows users to track their exercise achievements across four distinct categories:

  • Personal Bests - Records of personal achievement milestones
  • Achievements - General fitness accomplishments
  • Challenges - Completed fitness challenges
  • Masteries - Advanced skill-based accomplishments

This gamification element adds a new layer of motivation for users to engage with their fitness routines, providing visual recognition for their efforts and progress over time.

Beyond the Badges feature, the update includes several other improvements to the user experience. The Activities section on the homepage has been redesigned to provide better visibility into daily progress tracking. Users can now more easily monitor their fitness goals and see how they're performing against their targets.

The update also mentions optimization of the BioCharge algorithm, though specific details about what has been improved remain unclear. BioCharge is typically associated with battery health and charging optimization features in wearable devices, suggesting potential improvements in how the app manages battery life and charging cycles for connected smartwatches.

Additionally, the Device Page within the app has received a visual refresh, likely improving the interface for managing connected devices and accessing device-specific settings and features.

The update is available for all Amazfit smartwatch users with Android devices, including those with the Balance 2 model, which currently retails for $299.99 on Amazon. The latest version available for download is 10.0.7 through the Google Play Store.

This expansion to Android users follows the typical pattern of app updates being released on iOS first before rolling out to the broader Android ecosystem. The addition of the Badges feature represents Amazfit's continued effort to enhance user engagement through gamification and achievement tracking, aligning with broader trends in the fitness wearable market where motivation and user retention are key competitive factors.
