Overview

The Web Speech API consists of two main parts:

  1. SpeechRecognition: Allows the browser to listen to the user's voice and convert it to text.
  2. SpeechSynthesis: Allows the browser to read text aloud using a variety of built-in voices (Text-to-Speech).
