Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar drops to $699 on Amazon, its lowest price

Amazon cut $300 off Bose's nine-speaker soundbar, bringing the Dolby Atmos system to $699.

Amazon dropped the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar to $699 on Tuesday, a 30% discount from its $999 list price. The deal marks the lowest price the soundbar has reached on Amazon.

The nine-speaker system uses Dolby Atmos and Bose TrueSpace to create surround-sound effects. Bose's ADAPTiQ calibration adjusts audio to your room using a built-in microphone, while A.I. Dialogue mode sharpens vocal clarity.

You can expand the system with a Bose Bass Module 500 or 700 subwoofer for deeper bass. Pair the soundbar with Bose Ultra Open earbuds, currently $199 on Amazon, and the system activates Personal Surround Sound, which Bose says improves sound localization and captures subtle audio details beyond what the soundbar delivers alone.

For context: even paired with external subwoofers, this setup won't match the power of the Nakamichi Dragon, a 3,000-watt, 11.4.6-channel system sold on Amazon at a higher price tier.

The Smart Ultra Soundbar connects to any source with optical audio or HDMI output. It works with other Bose speakers and soundbars for multi-room playback. Voice assistants, a smartphone app, or the included remote control the system.

Measuring 41.14 inches wide and weighing 12.68 pounds, the soundbar fits most entertainment centers.
