Major discounts on foldable phones, Pixel 10 series, and Galaxy S25 FE offer premium features at reduced prices

This week brings substantial savings on premium mobile devices, with foldable phones seeing discounts up to $500 and flagship models from Google and Samsung also marked down significantly.

Foldable phones get major price cuts

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold leads the foldable discounts with a $300 reduction, bringing the 16GB/256GB model down to $1,450. This makes it notably cheaper than comparable Samsung foldables at similar storage configurations. However, the price advantage comes with trade-offs: the Pixel uses Google's Tensor G5 chipset instead of the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite found in Samsung's offerings, though it compensates with more RAM in most configurations.

The camera system tells a different story. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold's main 48MP camera features a relatively small 1/2.0" sensor, which appears underwhelming compared to the Galaxy Z Fold7's 200MP sensor with a 1/1.3" size. Both devices share similar ultra-wide and telephoto capabilities, with comparable 10MP sensors for their respective zoom and wide-angle lenses.

Speaking of the Galaxy Z Fold7, it's available with a $400 discount, though its higher starting price means the 12/256GB model still costs nearly as much as the Pixel's 16/512GB variant. The Fold7 justifies its premium with superior performance, mature DeX multitasking capabilities, and S Pen compatibility (sold separately).

For flip phone enthusiasts, the Galaxy Z Flip7 offers a $200 discount and introduces DeX support on external displays, previously exclusive to the Fold series. Powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset and featuring a 4,300mAh battery, it achieves an 11:52 Active Use Score. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.57" size and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.

Bar phones also see significant discounts

Several premium bar phones are also on sale this week. The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 stands out with a $500 discount, bringing the 16/512GB model down to $800. This clamshell device offers compelling advantages over the Galaxy Z Flip7: it features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a larger 4,700mAh battery delivering 15:10h endurance (compared to 11:52h), and faster charging capabilities with 68W wired and 30W wireless charging versus the Flip7's 25W/15W.

The camera system on the Razr Ultra 2025 is particularly impressive for a flip phone, sporting a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.56" size, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP selfie camera.

Google Pixel 10 series deals

Google's latest flagship, the Pixel 10, is available with $150-$200 off, starting at $650 for the 12/128GB model. For just $50 more, you can double the storage to 256GB, which we recommend given the modest price difference. The Pixel 10 features the same Tensor G5 chipset and 6.3" display size as the Pro models, though with lower resolution and a standard panel instead of LTPO.

The camera setup is noteworthy for a vanilla Pixel, combining a 48MP main sensor with a 13MP ultra-wide and, for the first time, a dedicated 10.8MP 5x/112mm telephoto lens. However, battery life is somewhat disappointing at 12:08h for its 4,970mAh capacity.

For those seeking more premium features, the Pixel 10 Pro XL offers a solid $300 discount, bringing the 16/256GB model to $900. It features a large 6.8" LTPO display, a 5,200mAh battery with 12:29h endurance, and more capable cameras including a 50MP main with a 1/1.31" sensor, a 48MP 5x/113mm periscope, and a 48MP ultra-wide.

The smaller Pixel 10 Pro didn't receive the same discount treatment, remaining priced similarly to the Pro XL despite having a smaller 6.3" display and slightly smaller 4,870mAh battery with 12:06h endurance.

Other notable deals

The Nothing Phone (3) is nearly matched in price with the Pixel 10 at $640 for the 12/256GB model (after a $160 discount). It offers a larger 6.67" display, the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 5,150mAh battery with 12:56h endurance, and faster 65W wired charging that tops up in just one hour.

Camera enthusiasts might prefer the Nothing Phone (3)'s setup, which includes a 50MP main with a large 1/1.3" sensor, a 50MP 3x periscope, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP selfie camera.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE sees a $200 discount, bringing the 8/128GB model down to $450. It features a 6.7" display, a 4,900mAh battery with 11:57h endurance, and a versatile camera setup with a 50MP main (1/1.57"), an 8MP 3x/75mm telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide.

These discounts make premium devices more accessible, whether you're looking for cutting-edge foldable technology or powerful traditional smartphones with advanced camera systems.
