Honor has revealed details about its upcoming Magic8 Pro Air smartphone, positioning it as an ultra-thin flagship device in the Magic8 series. Leaked specifications confirm the phone will measure just 6.1mm thick while weighing 155 grams, making it remarkably lightweight.
The device features a distinctive camera visor housing three sensors, including a primary 50MP shooter with a 1/1.3-inch sensor matching the Magic8 Pro's main camera. While secondary cameras remain unspecified, the design presents a unique layout that reverses typical sensor positioning.
Powering the Magic8 Pro Air is MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. The phone includes a substantial 5,500mAh battery featuring silicon-carbon anode technology and supports 80W wired charging.
Honor plans to launch the device in China later this month with multiple color options: black, white, purple, and orange. This release expands Honor's premium ecosystem with a focus on balancing flagship performance in an exceptionally thin form factor.
