Oppo officially confirms April launch for Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro, revealing dedicated camera button and circular rear module design ahead of debut.

Oppo has officially confirmed that its highly anticipated Find X9 Ultra flagship smartphone will debut next month, alongside the Find X9s Pro. The company revealed the launch window through a Weibo post by Find series product manager Zhuo Shijie, who stated both devices will launch in China during April, though an exact date remains undisclosed.

The confirmation comes with an official teaser image that provides our first clear look at the Find X9 Ultra's design. Most notably, the image reveals a dedicated camera button with an orange accent on the right frame of the device - a feature that signals Oppo's focus on photography capabilities for this flagship model.

Pre-reservations are now open for both devices through Oppo's official online store in China. The teaser listing also offers a glimpse at the rear camera module design, showing the Ultra with a distinctive circular camera module, while the Find X9s Pro appears to feature a squarish module similar to the standard Find X9 Pro.

While details remain limited for the Find X9s Pro, it's expected to support 80W wired charging. The Ultra variant, however, has been the subject of numerous leaks that paint a picture of a camera-centric powerhouse.

According to recent reports, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a quad-rear camera setup headlined by a 200MP primary sensor. The telephoto capabilities appear particularly impressive, with both a 200MP periscope telephoto and a 50MP periscope telephoto offering 10x optical zoom. An additional 50MP ultrawide unit rounds out the camera system.

Under the hood, the device is expected to sport a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals and adaptive refresh technology for better battery efficiency. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, ensuring flagship-level performance.

Battery life should be substantial thanks to a 7,050mAh capacity, paired with 100W fast charging support for quick top-ups. This combination suggests Oppo is targeting users who demand both long-lasting battery life and rapid charging capabilities.

The dedicated camera button is particularly noteworthy, as it indicates Oppo is positioning the Find X9 Ultra as a device for photography enthusiasts who want quick access to camera controls. This physical button could potentially offer customizable functions such as launching the camera app, taking photos, or activating specific shooting modes.

With the April launch window now confirmed, anticipation is building for what could be one of 2026's most compelling camera-focused smartphones. The combination of high-resolution sensors, multiple telephoto options, and a large battery in a flagship package suggests Oppo is aiming to compete directly with other camera-centric devices from Samsung, Xiaomi, and Huawei.

As we approach the launch date, more details about pricing, availability, and additional features are likely to emerge. The Find X9 Ultra's global launch strategy remains unclear, though given the Find series' international presence, a wider release beyond China seems probable.

For mobile photography enthusiasts and flagship smartphone shoppers, April will bring an interesting new option that prioritizes camera capabilities without compromising on core smartphone features like display quality, performance, and battery life.
