Early Access Opportunity

Gaming enthusiasts can secure early access to the REDMAGIC 11 Air by purchasing a $1/€1 early bird voucher available now through February 10. This voucher grants access to purchase the phone one day before the general public on February 10, while open sales begin on February 11. Additionally, voucher holders receive a $30/€30 discount and a free REDMAGIC Phone Stand.

Design and Display

The REDMAGIC 11 Air maintains the Air series' hallmark slim and lightweight design, measuring just 7.85mm thick and weighing 207g. This represents a notable reduction from the 11 Pro's 8.9mm thickness and 230g weight. The phone features a 6.85-inch OLED display with 1,216 x 2,688px resolution and ultra-narrow bezels, creating a completely flat rectangular design without cutouts or camera punch holes.

The display supports 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive 960Hz touch sampling rate, with Magic Touch technology enabling precise control for competitive gaming. Shoulder triggers with 520Hz sampling rate provide additional gaming controls, and the refined design allows these triggers to be used in vertical games as well.

Performance and Cooling

Powering the REDMAGIC 11 Air is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with the new RedCore R4 chip, representing significant upgrades from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and RedCore R3 found in the previous Air model. The RedCore R4 chip handles super resolution and frame generation, capable of boosting game frame rates to match the display's higher refresh rate.

The cooling system represents a major advancement for the Air series. The REDMAGIC ICE Cooling System combines a 24,000rpm Turbo Fan with a larger vapor chamber featuring 40% higher heat diffusion efficiency and a graphene layer. An AI-assisted thermal management system dynamically allocates power between the CPU and GPU while controlling fan speeds to maintain optimal temperatures and prevent thermal throttling.

Built on TSMC's 4nm process, the Oryon CPU (up to 4.32 GHz) and Adreno 830 GPU (1,250 MHz) deliver flagship-level performance with frame stability during intensive gameplay. The RedCore R4 and CUBE system scheduler optimize CPU, GPU, and thermal performance for smoother graphics, stable frame rates, and efficient power management.

Memory and Storage

The device can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage using faster UFS 4.1 chips, an upgrade from the UFS 4.0 in the previous generation.

Battery and Charging

Despite its slim profile, the REDMAGIC 11 Air features a substantial 7,000mAh battery, representing a 1,000mAh increase over the 10 Air. This larger capacity is designed for all-day use and supports 80W fast charging. The Charge Separation (battery bypass) feature reduces heat generation during charging and extends battery longevity.

Camera System

The REDMAGIC 11 Air features a 50MP rear camera with a 1/1.55" OV5E sensor and f/1.89 lens with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Both lenses include APL coating to reduce glare and maintain the traditional REDMAGIC design where the lenses are almost flush with the back. A 16MP selfie camera (1/2.77", OV16EQ) with f/2.0 lens is hidden under the OLED display on the front.

Audio and Haptics

The phone includes stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra for immersive sound, complemented by an advanced X-axis linear motor that provides realistic feedback during gameplay.

Availability and Pricing

The REDMAGIC 11 Air will be available in two colors: Phantom and Prism, both featuring the characteristic transparent look enhanced with RGB lighting and dynamic effects. The phone is designed for comfortable grip and reduced fatigue during extended gaming sessions.

Pricing starts at $529/€499/£439 for the 12GB/256GB configuration and $629/€599/£529 for the 16GB/512GB model. The device will launch in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, GCC countries, and Latin America, with Vietnam, Thailand, and Turkey receiving the phone later this year.
