Spectrum has announced a new 'Invincible WiFi' plan launching today that combines WiFi 7, 5G data, and an 8-hour battery backup to provide maximum peace of mind with your home internet coverage.

For many who are able to work remotely from home, having a stable, dependable internet connection is closely tied to their job security. Whether you fall into that camp, or you simply want to avoid ever dealing with internet issues in the future, Spectrum has a new 'Invincible WiFi' option launching today.
What's Included in Spectrum's 'Invincible WiFi'
Here's what's included, per Spectrum's website:
WiFi 7: Delivers ultra-fast speeds, low latency and coverage for up to 200+ devices.
Seamless Switchover: The system automatically switches to backup mode within seconds – keeping all devices connected.
Unlimited Data: The only WiFi solution that provides 5G backup with unlimited data.
8-Hour Battery Life: Provides up to 8 hours of wireless battery backup.
Essentially, there are two fall-backs if your home internet is struggling for any reason. The system can automatically detect WiFi issues and switch your connection to the 5G backup as needed—with no data cap. And in the event of a full power outage, the included battery backup provides 8 extra hours of connectivity.
Pricing and Availability
'Invincible WiFi' is included free in Spectrum's 2GB internet plan. It can also be added to any 1GB plan for $10/month or to any other Spectrum plan for $20/month.
The timing of this launch is particularly relevant as more people than ever work from home and rely on stable internet connections for their livelihoods. The combination of WiFi 7 technology with automatic failover to 5G backup represents a significant advancement in home internet reliability.
For remote workers, gamers, or anyone who can't afford internet downtime, this could be a compelling option. The automatic switching between WiFi and 5G means users won't even notice when the backup kicks in, maintaining productivity during outages.
