Acer's newly announced Veriton RA100 mini workstation targets developers, designers, and content creators needing substantial computing power in minimal physical space. Scheduled for Q1 2026 availability, this compact system centers around AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo processor – a chipset specifically engineered for AI workloads and graphics-intensive tasks.

The Strix Halo platform integrates three key components: a 16-core/32-thread Zen 5 CPU, Radeon 8060S graphics with 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units, and a dedicated NPU delivering 50 TOPS (trillion operations per second) of AI processing power. This combination enables local execution of AI models with up to 120 billion parameters – a capability previously requiring server-grade hardware.

For developers, the memory architecture significantly impacts workflow efficiency. The RA100 supports up to 128GB of soldered LPDDR5-8000 RAM in a quad-channel configuration, providing 256 GB/s bandwidth.
