Anthropic is giving paid Claude subscribers a one-time credit equal to their subscription price to celebrate new usage bundles, with credits expiring 90 days after claiming.
Anthropic is rolling out a promotional credit for its Pro, Max, and Team plan subscribers as part of the launch of its new usage bundles system. The company is offering a one-time extra usage credit equal to the subscriber's plan price, giving users additional flexibility across Claude, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and third-party products.
Credit Amounts by Plan
Subscribers will receive credits based on their current plan:
- Pro plan: $20 credit
- Max plan (5x): $100 credit
- Max plan (20x): $200 credit
- Team plan: $200 credit
Eligibility and Claiming Process
The promotion is available to users who subscribed to a Pro, Max, or Team plan by April 3, 2026 at 9 AM PT and have enabled extra usage. Enterprise plans and Console accounts are excluded from this offer.
To claim the credit, subscribers need to:
- Enable extra usage in Settings > Usage (Pro and Max) or Organization settings > Usage (Team)
- Click the "Claim" button on the banner at the top of the Usage page
The credit will be added to the account without charging the payment method. The claiming window runs from April 3 through April 17, 2026, after which the credit can no longer be claimed.
Usage and Expiration Details
The credit can be used across all Claude products and features available on the subscriber's plan. However, the extra usage setting isn't accessible via mobile apps, so enabling it must be done through the web version of Claude.
Credits expire 90 days after claiming, and any unused portion won't carry over. After the credit expires or is fully used, extra usage will remain enabled on the account. Subscribers who have auto-reload enabled will be billed at standard rates for any usage beyond their plan limits.
This promotion appears to be part of Anthropic's broader strategy to encourage adoption of its usage bundles system while providing added value to existing paid subscribers.
