AOC's 34-inch Agon Pro tandem OLED monitor with 1300 nits peak brightness and 360 Hz refresh rate is now available for pre-order in China at 6,999 Yuan ($1,025), though global availability remains unclear.
AOC has finally revealed pricing for its impressive Agon Pro AGP346UCSD tandem OLED gaming monitor, which was first unveiled with much fanfare for its innovative 5-layer tandem OLED panel technology. The 34-inch ultrawide curved display is now available for pre-order on Chinese retailer JD.com at 6,999 Yuan, translating to approximately $1,025.
This premium gaming monitor packs several standout specifications that justify its premium positioning. The 21:9 aspect ratio display offers a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels paired with an exceptionally fast 360 Hz refresh rate, making it particularly appealing to competitive gamers who want both immersion and speed. The monitor employs a V-Stripe subpixel layout, which AOC claims will deliver superior text clarity compared to traditional QD-OLED panels that use triangular subpixel arrangements.
One of the most striking specifications is the claimed peak brightness of 1,300 nits in small areas. While AOC hasn't provided details about sustained full-screen brightness levels, this peak capability suggests the monitor should handle HDR content with impressive vibrancy and contrast. The tandem OLED technology, which stacks multiple OLED layers, is designed to enhance brightness while maintaining the deep blacks and infinite contrast ratios that OLED displays are known for.
Color performance appears equally impressive, with the monitor covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut and 99% of DCI-P3. AOC promises excellent color accuracy with a Delta E value below 1, which is professional-grade territory typically reserved for content creation monitors rather than gaming-focused displays.
The physical design incorporates an aggressive 800R curvature, wrapping the display around the user for enhanced immersion. AOC has also addressed a common OLED limitation by improving black levels in brightly lit environments, which should make the monitor more versatile across different lighting conditions.
Connectivity options are comprehensive, including DisplayPort 2.1, dual HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-C with 15W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, USB-B upstream, and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The inclusion of USB-C with PD and DP Alt Mode makes it particularly convenient for laptop users who want to reduce cable clutter.
AOC hasn't forgotten about aesthetics either. The monitor features an asymmetric pentagonal RGB lighting setup on the back, catering to gamers who appreciate customizable lighting effects. Additional features include KVM functionality for controlling multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse setup, plus Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes for multitasking.
While the Chinese pricing is now confirmed, global availability remains uncertain. AOC has a history of bringing its products to international markets, so the Agon Pro tandem OLED monitor is likely to see a wider release eventually. For those who can't wait or prefer a more established option, the 34-inch LG 34GS95QE OLED is currently available on Amazon for $800, offering a more traditional OLED experience at a lower price point.

The tandem OLED technology represents an interesting evolution in display engineering, potentially offering the best of both worlds: OLED's perfect blacks and contrast ratios combined with enhanced brightness that can better compete with high-end LCDs in well-lit environments. This could be particularly valuable for gaming setups in rooms with ambient light or for users who want their HDR content to truly pop.

The pricing positions the Agon Pro at the premium end of the gaming monitor market, competing with other high-end options like Samsung's Odyssey OLED models and LG's UltraGear OLED lineup. Whether the tandem OLED technology and associated benefits justify the price premium over conventional OLED monitors will likely be a key consideration for potential buyers once the monitor becomes available globally.
For now, interested buyers will need to either import from China or wait for official global availability announcements from AOC. Given the monitor's impressive specifications and the growing demand for high-performance gaming displays, it's likely that AOC will expand availability beyond the Chinese market in the coming months.
