Grace Gummer has joined the cast of an untitled Apple TV thriller series, according to Deadline. Gummer, known for The Newsroom, will star alongside Dakota Fanning, who appears in All Her Fault.

The series, created by Alex Cary, rounds out its cast with Stellan Skarsgård (Dune) and Daryl McCormack (Twisters). Gummer plays Juliana, the oldest child of Skarsgård's character, Brant, who heads a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with political and criminal tentacles.

Fanning plays an undercover Treasury agent embedded in the conglomerate who grows conflicted when she believes her principal target, the heir apparent, is at his core a good man worthy of her love.

Fanning will co-produce alongside her sister, Elle Fanning, who recently starred in Margo's Got Money Troubles, also on Apple TV. Brittany Kahan Ward (The Great), Julie Gardner (Lady in the Lake), and Kari Skogland (Smoke) serve as additional co-producers. Skogland will direct.

The untitled series marks the latest collaboration between Apple TV and Sony Pictures Television, following For All Mankind, Star City, Black Bird, The Afterparty, Platonic, Pluribus, and Dark Matter.

Apple TV has not announced a premiere date or additional cast members. The series title is expected to be revealed soon.
