Asus refreshes its ExpertCenter PN55 mini PC with AMD's Ryzen AI 400 processors, featuring up to a 12-core Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 chip, WiFi 7 connectivity, and the same compact 130x130x34mm chassis as its predecessor.

The Asus ExpertCenter PN55 mini PC maintains its compact 130 x 130 x 34mm (5.1″ x 5.1″ x 1.3″) dimensions while receiving significant internal upgrades centered around AMD's latest Ryzen AI 400 series processors.
The standout feature is the new processor options, with the top-tier Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 configuration offering a 12-core CPU and 16-core Radeon graphics. This represents a substantial upgrade over last year's PN54 models that maxed out at an 8-core Ryzen AI 7 350 processor.

For more budget-conscious users, Asus will offer Ryzen AI 7 445 and Ryzen AI 5 430 configurations. All models support up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory across two SODIMM slots and feature PCIe 4.0 SSD storage via an M.2 2280 slot.

The PN55 includes modern connectivity with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. Port selection includes:
- 1 × USB4 (40 Gbps)
- 1 × USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
- 3 × USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1 × USB 2.0
- 1 × HDMI 2.1
- 2 × DisplayPort 1.4
- 2 × 2.5 GbE Ethernet
- 1 × 3.5mm audio jack

Physical controls include front-mounted power and Windows Copilot buttons, plus a fingerprint sensor on the lid for security. The system ships with a 120W power adapter.

While maintaining the same compact footprint as its predecessor, the PN55's upgraded processor options provide significantly more computational power for demanding workloads, making it a versatile solution for office and light creative applications where space is limited.
