Devsisters has launched a limited-time KPop Demon Hunters collaboration in CookieRun: Kingdom, adding three new playable Cookies, themed story content, special game modes, and Kingdom decorations available until May 6.

Mobile game CookieRun: Kingdom has launched a limited-time crossover event with Netflix's animated film KPop Demon Hunters, introducing new playable characters, themed story content, and special game modes that run until May 6 at 4:59 p.m. ET / 1:59 p.m. PT.

The update centers on a new event episode called "HUNTR/X Show in the Cookie World!" set in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. In the story, the Saja Boys and invading demons threaten the kingdom, while players team up with HUNTR/X to protect the Cookie Honmoon.

Three HUNTR/X Cookies join the roster

The collaboration introduces three new playable characters based on the film's main trio: Rumi Cookie, Mira Cookie, and Zoey Cookie. Devsisters describes Rumi as a fast close-range fighter, Mira as a front-line pressure-focused unit, and Zoey as a ranged attacker built around long-distance combat.

Special game modes and activities

Beyond the character additions, the event brings several new gameplay experiences:

  • Live! Survival on Stage - A survival-style mode where players face increasingly difficult challenges
  • Gwi-Ma! Demon Distress - A boss raid where players confront the demon king Gwi-ma
  • Derpy's Catch the Jelly Worm - A smaller event activity focused on score chasing and reward collection

Cosmetics, music, and Kingdom decorations

Players also receive collaboration-themed customization content, including costumes for HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys, plus four interactive Kingdom buildings that trigger character animations and play music. The overall update integrates story progression, combat, mini-games, and decoration systems into one cohesive limited-time package.

The crossover pairs one of Devsisters' biggest mobile games with Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, whose official synopsis follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey as K-pop stars who secretly protect fans from supernatural threats. The film also won Best Animated Feature, while "Golden" won Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards.

According to Devsisters' release, the broader CookieRun franchise has surpassed 300 million cumulative players worldwide and generated more than $1 billion in lifetime revenue. CookieRun: Kingdom remains available as a free download on iOS and Android.
