Leaked footage suggests DJI's next compact gimbal camera may arrive with a taller design, new controls, and a 33MP SuperPhoto mode, though the dual-lens rumors remain unconfirmed.
A new leak has surfaced showing what appears to be the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 in the wild, offering the first real glimpse at the next generation of DJI's popular compact gimbal camera.

The leaked video, reportedly captured inside a DJI-authorized store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, shows a device bearing the "POCKET 4" designation on its side. According to the source, a customer walked into the store carrying the unannounced camera, which the staff then demonstrated.
While the overall design remains familiar, several notable changes are visible when compared to the current Pocket 3 model:
- A noticeably longer stem extending from the handle
- A new "C" button whose function remains unclear
- What appears to be a dedicated zoom control
- An LED light integrated into one of the gimbal joints - a feature not available as an official accessory for the Pocket 3
The flip-action display and overall gimbal setup appear unchanged from the previous generation.

The video only briefly touches on the software interface, which seems largely familiar to existing Pocket users. However, a new "SuperPhoto" mode was spotted, capable of capturing 33MP still images - a significant upgrade from previous models.
Earlier leaks had suggested a dual-lens design with a secondary zoom camera, similar to recent Insta360 models and some of DJI's drones. This particular leak shows a single-lens configuration, though the dual-lens design might still materialize as a separate "Pocket 4 Pro" variant.
An Amazon Denmark listing that appeared earlier had indicated the Pocket 4 would retain the 1-inch sensor from the Pocket 3 but offer enhanced video capabilities, including 4K recording at 240fps (up from the current 120fps limit). The listing also suggested a retail price between $550 and $700, depending on the bundle.
However, potential buyers in the United States face uncertainty. The device may be subject to tariffs that could increase the price, and there's also the possibility that the Pocket 4 could fall under the "foreign-made drones" ban that affects DJI products in the US market.
While the Malaysian store leak provides intriguing details, the authenticity of such early footage should always be treated with caution. Nevertheless, with the Pocket 3 approaching its third anniversary, an announcement in the coming months seems increasingly likely.
