Amazon UK discounts iPhone 16e and Air models as Apple prepares to unveil iPhone 17e, while Google's Pixel 10 lineup continues to offer significant savings.
Amazon UK has launched discounts on Apple's iPhone 16e and iPhone Air models, just days before Apple's expected iPhone 17e announcement next week. The retailer is also continuing to offer substantial savings on Google's Pixel 10 series smartphones.
iPhone 16e price cut ahead of new model launch The iPhone 16e, currently Apple's most affordable iPhone, is now available with a £100 discount, bringing the 128GB model down to £499. This represents a significant price reduction for Apple's entry-level smartphone.
The iPhone 16e features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, powered by Apple's A18 chipset. The device includes a single 48MP rear camera, a 12MP front camera with Face ID, and a 4,005mAh battery supporting wireless (Qi) charging.
iPhone Air gets £200 discount Apple's premium iPhone Air model is also seeing price reductions, with £200 off the regular price. The 256GB version is now available for £799, while the 512GB model costs £999.
The iPhone Air boasts a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and impressive 3,000 nits peak brightness. At just 5.6mm thin and weighing only 165g, it's Apple's most portable premium offering. The device is powered by the latest A19 Pro SoC with 12GB of RAM, features a single 48MP rear camera, and includes an 18MP front camera with Dynamic Island and Face ID.
Google Pixel 10 series maintains strong discounts Google's Pixel 10 lineup continues to offer substantial savings, with discounts ranging from £200 to £450 depending on the model:
- Pixel 10: £250 off, now £549 for 128GB and £649 for 256GB
- Pixel 10 Pro: £200 off, now £899 for 256GB and £1,019 for 512GB
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: £270 off, now £929 for 256GB and £1,049 for 512GB
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: £450 off, now £1,299 for 256GB and £1,419 for 512GB
The Pixel 10 series is powered by Google's Tensor G5 chipset. The standard Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro feature 6.3-inch displays, while the Pro XL offers a larger 6.8-inch screen. All three models include triple rear camera setups, with the Pro variants featuring superior hardware. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold now includes a slightly larger cover display and bigger battery than its predecessor.
Xiaomi devices also discounted Two Xiaomi smartphones are also seeing price reductions this week:
- Poco F7 Ultra: £200 off, now £499 for the 16GB/512GB model
- Xiaomi 15T Pro: £100 off, now £549 for 12GB/256GB and £599 for 12GB/512GB
The Poco F7 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a triple rear camera setup, a 5,300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a 32MP selfie camera.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, a 5,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support, and a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
These discounts come as consumers look for deals ahead of new product launches, with Apple's iPhone 17e expected to be unveiled next week. The timing suggests retailers are clearing inventory of current models to make room for the incoming devices.
