Kingbull has entered the competitive e-bike market with its new Ranger model, blending vintage motorcycle aesthetics with modern electric bike technology. The California-based manufacturer, known for its fat-tire electric bikes, has priced the Ranger aggressively at $789 during its introductory period, making it an intriguing option for both off-road enthusiasts and casual riders.
At the heart of the Ranger lies a 750W brushless rear hub motor from Bafang, capable of delivering 1,500W peak power and 80 Nm of torque. This motor configuration matches what Kingbull uses in its higher-end models like the Rover 2.0 and Literider 2.0, suggesting the company is bringing premium components to a more accessible price point. The motor enables speeds up to 28 mph (45 km/h) and can handle climbs up to 30 degrees, making it suitable for challenging terrain.
Power comes from an 864Wh battery pack, marking Kingbull's first e-bike with such a large capacity.
