OPPO's Find X9 Ultra debuts with Hasselblad Master Mode 2.0 featuring 16EV dynamic range, RAW MAX/JPEG MAX formats across six focal lengths, and native film styles including Portra and 800T.
OPPO has unveiled the official camera specifications for its upcoming Find X9 Ultra flagship, confirming a substantial upgrade to the Hasselblad Master Mode that positions the device as a true "camera in your pocket." The new Master Mode 2.0 introduces RAW MAX and JPEG MAX formats across six distinct focal lengths: 14mm, 23mm, 46mm, 70mm, 140mm, and 230mm, offering unprecedented creative flexibility for mobile photography enthusiasts.
The standout feature is the ultra-high dynamic range of up to 16EV, which significantly exceeds most smartphone cameras that typically offer 12-14EV. This expanded dynamic range allows for greater detail retention in both highlights and shadows, particularly beneficial for high-contrast scenes like landscapes at sunset or indoor shots with bright windows.

Photography purists will appreciate the suite of native film styles available directly from the camera interface. The Find X9 Ultra includes legendary aesthetics such as Portra, 800T, TX400, and XPAN wide-format modes, eliminating the need for post-processing to achieve these classic looks. For users who demand granular control, the system provides extensive manual controls alongside AI-powered "film presents" that allow saving up to 20 unique custom presets.
The camera hardware itself is equally impressive. The primary shooter features a 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor with a 1/1.12-inch size, f/1.5 aperture, and 23mm focal length. The telephoto system includes two periscope lenses: a 3x optical zoom with a 200MP OmniVision OV52A sensor (1/1.28-inch, f/2.2, 70mm) and a 10x optical zoom with a 50MP ISOCELL JNL sensor (1/2.75-inch, f/3.5, 230mm). An ultra-wide 50MP Sony LYT-600 completes the quad-camera setup with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 14mm focal length.
This comprehensive camera system represents OPPO's most ambitious photography endeavor to date, directly challenging other high-end smartphone manufacturers in the mobile photography space. The combination of massive sensors, multiple focal lengths, and Hasselblad's color science expertise creates a versatile toolkit for both casual shooters and serious photographers.
The Find X9 Ultra officially launches tomorrow, April 21, with these camera specifications now confirmed ahead of the global debut. The device appears positioned to compete with other flagship smartphones that have made photography a central selling point, potentially setting a new benchmark for mobile imaging capabilities in 2026.
