Speechify launches AI Note Taker, a web-based tool that transcribes and summarizes meetings, lectures, and discussions, continuing the company's push to become a unified voice-first productivity platform.
Speechify has launched AI Note Taker, a new web-based tool that transcribes and summarizes Zoom meetings, lectures, and other virtual or in-person discussions. The feature is the latest addition to Speechify's expanding collection of voice-based productivity tools, as the company pushes to become a unified voice-first ecosystem under a single subscription.

Over the past several months, Speechify has been rapidly expanding its feature set across multiple platforms including mobile, desktop, web, ChatGPT, and Meta's AI Glasses. The company, which won the 2025 Apple Design Award in the Inclusivity category, has been systematically building out what it calls a "voice-first" approach to AI-powered productivity.
In December 2025, Speechify released a new Mac app alongside Voice Typing Dictation, which allows users to speak naturally and converts their speech into clean, polished text. This was followed by the launch of Voice Assistant on iOS, a voice-first AI assistant capable of handling research, writing, and conversations.
The AI Note Taker feature represents a significant expansion of Speechify's capabilities. When users enable the tool during meetings or lectures, Speechify generates a full transcript for each participant, allowing users to focus on the actual conversation rather than taking notes. The system then creates summaries of the discussions, making it easier to review and reference important points later.
Raheel Kazi, representing Speechify, explained the company's vision behind this launch: "We don't think you should need five accounts for five different services powered by Voice AI. Speechify is a single platform that understands who you are, gives you every Voice AI tool you need with a single account, and only gets better with time."
Currently, AI Note Taker is launching on the web, with desktop and iOS/Android versions planned for the near future. However, once a meeting is processed, users can already access summaries and transcripts on iOS and Android devices, where they can have the content read aloud using Speechify's text-to-speech capabilities.
This launch continues Speechify's strategy of creating an integrated voice-first ecosystem that spans multiple devices and use cases. By bundling transcription, summarization, voice typing, and AI assistance under a single subscription, the company is positioning itself as a comprehensive solution for users who prefer voice-based interactions with their technology.
The timing of this release is notable as more organizations and educational institutions continue to rely on virtual meetings and remote learning. Tools that can automatically transcribe and summarize these interactions address a growing need for productivity and accessibility in digital communication.
Speechify's approach contrasts with other companies that offer similar features as standalone products or within specific applications. By creating a unified platform, Speechify aims to provide a more seamless experience across different contexts where voice interaction is valuable.
For users who frequently participate in meetings, attend lectures, or engage in lengthy discussions, AI Note Taker could significantly reduce the cognitive load of note-taking while ensuring that important information is captured and easily accessible. The ability to have transcripts read aloud also adds an accessibility dimension that aligns with Speechify's award-winning focus on inclusive design.
As voice-based AI technology continues to mature, Speechify's comprehensive approach may represent a model for how productivity tools evolve to meet changing user needs in an increasingly digital and remote work environment.
