ViewSonic's new ViewBoard IFP35-1 and IFP41-1 series bring 55-98-inch 4K touchscreens with Android 16 OS, 64-point multi-touch, and specialized education software for classroom and enterprise use.

ViewSonic has unveiled its largest interactive displays to date with the ViewBoard IFP35-1 and IFP41-1 series, headlined by a massive 98-inch 4K model designed for collaborative environments. These displays combine high-resolution panels with Android 16 OS and specialized education software, creating versatile solutions for classrooms, conference rooms, and digital signage applications.
Display and Core Specifications
Both series feature 4K UHD (3840×2160) LED panels with a 5000:1 contrast ratio, 6.5ms response time, and 300 nits brightness. The displays span five size options: 55, 65, 75, 86, and the flagship 98-inch model. When comparing the ViewSonic displays to conventional monitors, the 98-inch variant offers nearly 10 times more screen real estate than a standard 32-inch 4K display while maintaining pixel density suitable for close viewing distances.
Android 16 Integration
Running on an octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Android 16 OS provides full access to the Google Play Store. This enables installation of productivity apps, video conferencing tools, and educational software without requiring external devices. The interface supports up to 64 simultaneous touch points, allowing multiple users to interact with content simultaneously—a significant upgrade from the 20-point touch support common in previous-generation models.
Specialized Features
The integrated myViewBoard digital whiteboarding software transforms the display into a collaborative workspace with annotation tools, screen sharing, and cloud integration. Audio capabilities differ between models: The IFP35-1 includes dual 20W speakers, while the IFP41-1 adds a 15W subwoofer and an array of eight microphones for voice pickup in large rooms. Both series feature comprehensive connectivity including HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, VGA, RS232 control, 3.5mm audio, microSD slot, and Gigabit Ethernet.
Target Audience Analysis
These displays primarily target educational institutions needing interactive teaching tools and corporations requiring large-format collaboration displays. The Android integration eliminates the need for separate PCs in many use cases, while traditional inputs maintain compatibility with existing workstations and media players. Compared to projector-based solutions, the direct-view panels offer superior brightness consistency and eliminate shadow interference during presentations.
ViewSonic has scheduled availability for late 2026, with pricing unannounced. Based on current market positioning of similar products, the 98-inch model will likely command a premium over standard commercial displays but undercut dedicated smart board solutions with comparable functionality.
