The vivo X300 Ultra has been officially certified in Indonesia, confirming its model number V2562 ahead of its expected March launch.
The vivo X300 Ultra has now had its model number officially confirmed, thanks to its certification in Indonesia by SIRIM. As you can see in the image below, the X300 Ultra has the model number V2562. It was certified alongside the also upcoming X300 FE, which has the model number V2537.

The X300 Ultra is expected to be unveiled next month, and earlier today it was tipped to support a dual-lens teleconverter kit, which would be an industry-first. This would have a 400mm fixed-focus prime lens while also supporting a 200mm focal length, but you'll only be able to use one focal length at a time.
The X300 Ultra is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and to come with two 200MP cameras on the back, a 5MP multispectral sensor, and an improved ultrawide.

This certification confirms what we've been hearing about vivo's flagship Ultra lineup expansion. The model number V2562 follows vivo's typical numbering scheme for its premium devices, while the companion X300 FE (V2537) suggests vivo is planning a more accessible variant alongside the Ultra model.
The dual-lens teleconverter kit rumor is particularly interesting as it would represent a novel approach to mobile photography. Most smartphones rely on periscope telephoto lenses for long-range zoom, but a modular teleconverter system could offer photographers more flexibility. The limitation of using only one focal length at a time makes practical sense from a hardware perspective, as switching between the 400mm and 200mm options would likely require physical lens changes.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC would position the X300 Ultra at the top of vivo's performance hierarchy. This chipset, expected to be Qualcomm's next flagship mobile processor, would provide cutting-edge performance for demanding applications and advanced computational photography features.
The camera setup is equally ambitious, with dual 200MP sensors suggesting vivo is pushing pixel count boundaries even further. The inclusion of a 5MP multispectral sensor indicates advanced color and white balance processing capabilities, while the improved ultrawide would round out a versatile photography system.
With certification now confirmed and launch expected next month, we should see official announcements from vivo soon. The X300 Ultra appears positioned to compete directly with other flagship killers and premium Android devices in the increasingly competitive high-end smartphone market.
