Overview
The mode is the measure of central tendency that identifies the most common value in a dataset. A dataset can have one mode (unimodal), two modes (bimodal), or multiple modes (multimodal).
Characteristics
- Can be used for both numerical and categorical data (unlike mean and median).
- Not affected by outliers.
- May not exist if all values are unique.
