Overview
Ping is the most common tool for troubleshooting network connectivity. It uses the ICMP Echo Request and ICMP Echo Reply messages.

- Reachability: Whether the destination is 'up' and responding.
- Latency: The Round Trip Time (RTT) in milliseconds.
- Packet Loss: The percentage of requests that did not receive a reply.
