Overview

The PSU is a critical but often overlooked component. It must provide stable, clean power to the CPU, GPU, and other parts. A failing or low-quality PSU can cause system instability or even damage other components.

Key Specifications

  • Wattage: The total power the PSU can deliver (e.g., 500W, 850W, 1200W).
  • Efficiency Rating: 80 Plus (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium) indicates how much power is wasted as heat.
  • Modularity: Non-modular (all cables attached), Semi-modular, or Fully modular (all cables removable for better cable management).
