Realme's latest P4 Power 5G smartphone packs a massive 10,001 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W charging, curved AMOLED display, and MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset at a competitive price point.

Realme has officially launched the P4 Power 5G, a smartphone that pushes the boundaries of battery capacity in the mid-range segment. The device features a massive 10,001 mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired charging, marking a significant leap from the prototype shown last year.

Battery Technology That Lasts The standout feature is undoubtedly the gigantic battery. Realme claims this silicon-carbon battery will retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 8 years or 1,650 charging cycles. This longevity is particularly impressive given the battery's size. The device also supports 27W reverse charging, capable of charging an iPhone 16 Pro to 50% in just 27 minutes.

Despite housing such a large battery, the P4 Power 5G maintains a relatively slim profile at just 0.90 cm (0.30 inches) thick and weighs 219 grams (0.48 lbs). This engineering achievement demonstrates Realme's ability to balance power capacity with practical form factors.

Display and Design Evolution Unlike its sibling the Realme P4 with a flat display, the P4 Power 5G features a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED panel. The display delivers 2800 x 1280p resolution with an impressive peak brightness of 6,500 nits and a 144 Hz refresh rate. This combination ensures vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling, making it suitable for both media consumption and gaming.

The device comes in three color options: trans orange, trans blue, and trans silver, giving users aesthetic choices that match their personal style.

Performance and Camera Capabilities Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, paired with a substantial 4,613 mm² vapor chamber for thermal management. Users can choose between 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM configurations, with storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. However, storage expansion isn't supported, which may be a limitation for some users.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS for stable shots, complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera offering a 112° field of view. For selfies and video calls, there's a 16 MP front-facing camera.

Software and Durability Out of the box, the P4 Power 5G runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0. Realme has committed to providing 3 major OS upgrades (Android 17, 18, and 19) and four years of security patches until 2030, ensuring long-term software support.

The device boasts impressive durability ratings with IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance certifications, making it one of the more rugged options in the mid-range segment.

Pricing and Availability The Realme P4 Power 5G is competitively priced:

  • 8 GB + 128 GB: INR 27,999 (~$304.28)
  • 8 GB + 256 GB: INR 29,999 (~$326.02)
  • 12 GB + 256 GB: INR 32,999 (~$358.62)

The smartphone will be available for purchase from February 5th via Realme's official store.
