Tecno's upcoming Camon Slim has been certified by the EEC and benchmarked on Geekbench, revealing a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and 5G support for what appears to be a mid-range thin-profile smartphone.
Tecno is expanding its Slim smartphone lineup with the upcoming Camon Slim, which has recently received EEC certification and appeared on Geekbench, giving us our first look at the device's specifications.

The EEC certification reveals the model number CN6 and confirms 5G connectivity support. This follows Tecno's pattern of releasing Slim variants of its popular series, with the Spark Slim and Pova Slim having debuted in September 2025.
A device matching the CN6 model number has been spotted running Geekbench benchmarks, where it achieved a single-core score of 997 and a multi-core score of 2,950. These scores are consistent with the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset that powers the device, paired with 8GB of RAM in the benchmarked prototype.
The benchmark results and chipset choice suggest the Camon Slim will occupy the mid-range segment rather than competing as a flagship device. The Dimensity 7100 is MediaTek's upper mid-range offering, typically found in smartphones priced between $250-400, offering a balance of performance and efficiency.
Tecno has confirmed the device will launch with Android 16, indicating the company is keeping pace with the latest Google mobile operating system. This is particularly noteworthy as Tecno has been expanding its software capabilities, recently introducing EllaClaw - an OpenClaw port designed to automate tasks on Tecno phones.
While the exact dimensions haven't been revealed, the "Slim" branding suggests Tecno is prioritizing a thin profile design, likely targeting users who prefer more compact and lightweight devices. This approach aligns with the growing market demand for sleeker smartphones that don't compromise on performance.
The Camon series traditionally focuses on camera capabilities, so we can expect the Slim variant to maintain this focus while offering a more streamlined form factor. The combination of the Dimensity 7100's capable ISP (Image Signal Processor) and Tecno's camera optimizations could result in a compelling photography experience in a slim package.
As with previous Tecno launches, the Camon Slim will likely debut in emerging markets where the brand has strong presence, particularly in Africa, South Asia, and parts of Southeast Asia. The mid-range positioning and 5G support make it well-suited for these markets where 5G networks are rapidly expanding.
We'll continue to monitor developments and provide updates as more details about the Tecno Camon Slim emerge ahead of its official launch.
