The samples showcase shots taken with the main 200MP Sony LYT-901 camera, which vivo claims can capture up to 30% more light than the previous generation. The daylight samples demonstrate the sensor's capabilities at 35mm focal length, showing good detail and dynamic range in typical shooting conditions.

Beyond the main camera, vivo also shared images captured using the Samsung HP0 200MP periscope telephoto camera. This sensor works in conjunction with the phone's 200mm and 400mm teleconverter lenses, suggesting the X300 Ultra will offer versatile zoom capabilities that go well beyond standard smartphone photography.

The camera system appears to be a major focus for this device. Alongside the telephoto setup, the X300 Ultra will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-818 ultrawide camera with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size - one of the biggest ultrawide sensors available on a smartphone. A 5MP multispectral camera is also rumored to be part of the setup, though its specific capabilities remain unclear.

These samples come from posts by vivo's Han Bo Xiao on Weibo, where he's been sharing detailed information about the device's camera technology. The images provide our first independent verification of vivo's claims about the camera system's capabilities.

The timing of these sample releases suggests vivo is building anticipation for what appears to be a significant camera-focused flagship. With the March 30 launch date approaching, we can expect more details about the phone's other specifications and features in the coming weeks.

According to recent leaks, the X300 Ultra will also be coming to global markets after its China debut, though specific international availability and pricing haven't been announced yet. Given vivo's track record with its X series, the phone will likely compete directly with other high-end Android devices from Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo in the premium segment.

For mobile photography enthusiasts, the combination of a high-resolution main sensor, versatile telephoto system with teleconverter lenses, and large ultrawide sensor makes the X300 Ultra an intriguing prospect. The ability to capture significantly more light with the main camera could translate to better low-light performance and more detail in challenging lighting conditions.
