Cold wallets (or cold storage) store private keys in an environment that is not connected to the internet. This makes them virtually immune to remote hacking attempts.
Types
- Hardware Wallets: Dedicated physical devices.
- Paper Wallets: Private keys printed on a piece of paper.
- Air-gapped Computers: Computers that have never been connected to a network.

Ideal for long-term storage of significant amounts of cryptocurrency ('HODLing').
