Titanic and Twin Peaks actor Billy Zane has landed a recurring role in Stick, Apple TV+'s golf comedy starring Owen Wilson, as the show adds new cast members ahead of its second season.

The cast of Apple TV+'s golf comedy Stick is getting a major boost for its second season with the addition of Billy Zane, best known for his roles in Titanic and Twin Peaks. The actor will join the series in a recurring capacity, Apple TV+ announced this week.

This casting news comes alongside updates about two other actors being promoted to series regulars. Judy Greer (The Big Bang Theory) and Timothy Olyphant (Live Free or Die Hard) have both been upped from their previous roles to become main cast members for season 2.

Stick debuted as one of Apple TV+'s most prominent shows last year, earning an 82% average Tomatometer score across its 10-episode run. The sports comedy stars Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris) as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed 20 years ago. The show follows Pryce as he works at an Indiana sporting goods store after the collapse of his marriage, before betting his future on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi, played by Peter Dager.

The series also features Lilli Kay (Your Honor) and Marc Maron (Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere) in key roles. Created by Jason Keller, Stick is described as a "heartfelt, feel-good comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before."

Fans of feel-good comedies like Ted Lasso and Shrinking will likely find Stick appealing, according to the show's synopsis. The series was renewed for a second season as the finale aired, though Apple TV+ has not yet announced a premiere timeline for the upcoming episodes.

Stick is available to stream on Apple TV+ for $12.99 per month, which also includes access to other hit shows and movies like F1 The Movie, Pluribus, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, and Silo.

For viewers interested in watching the first season before season 2 arrives, the entire 10-episode run is currently available on Apple TV+.
