Bose SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) Hits Lowest Price Ever on Amazon

The Bose SoundLink Micro portable speaker (2nd Gen) has reached its lowest price ever on Amazon, with all five color variants now available at a 23% discount from the MSRP of $129. The sale includes the Black, Blue Dusk, Petal Pink, Sandstone, and Twilight Blue options, bringing the price down to just $99.

The SoundLink Micro offers Bluetooth wireless connectivity to audio sources, with the ability to pair two units for stereo output. Bose claims the battery provides up to 12 hours of runtime and charges in just 3.0 hours. A flexible utility strap allows the speaker to be easily attached to backpacks or bicycles for outdoor adventures.

According to Rtings' review, the speaker incorporates Bose sound technology to create sound with a "balanced mid-range" that "represents voices accurately," making it particularly well-suited for listening to podcasts in small rooms. However, the compact size does come with limitations. Larger portable speakers from Bose offer better music reproduction and sound coverage for larger spaces, with the petite SoundLink Micro rated 6.4 for music compared to the larger Bose SoundLink Max (also currently on sale at Amazon for $329) which is rated 7.4.

The SoundLink Micro may not be the ideal choice for work-from-home employees, as it lacks a microphone for online meetings. This limitation makes it better suited for personal listening rather than professional use cases that require voice communication.
