Italian retailer Epto reveals pricing for Motorola's upcoming 5G smartphones, with the Moto G17 starting under €300 and the Edge 70 Fusion reaching €479, as high-res promotional images leak ahead of official announcement.
Motorola appears poised to refresh its mid-range smartphone lineup with several new 5G devices, as pricing details and promotional images have surfaced ahead of an expected official announcement. An Italian retailer, Epto, has revealed launch configurations and pricing for multiple upcoming Motorola smartphones, while renowned leaker Evan Blass shared high-resolution promotional images of the devices.
According to Epto Italy, the entry-level Moto G17 will launch with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for just under €300 (approximately $359). The device will be available in Alaskan Blue and Evening Blue finishes, with Blass' leak suggesting a soft pink variant will also be offered. This pricing positions the G17 as a competitive option in the budget 5G smartphone segment, where consumers increasingly expect generous storage configurations even at lower price points.

The Moto G77, positioned as a higher-tier offering in the G-series lineup, will feature the same 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration but with different color options: Shaded Spruce and Black Olive. Epto indicates the G77 will carry a launch price of approximately €375 (around $449), representing a 30% premium over the G17. This pricing strategy suggests Motorola aims to differentiate the G77 through design and potentially camera capabilities rather than core specifications.
Interestingly, Epto has not yet provided details about the Moto G67, leaving questions about where this model fits within the lineup and what unique features it might offer to justify its position between the G17 and G77.

The Edge 70 Fusion represents Motorola's upper mid-range offering, replacing the previous Edge 60 Fusion (currently available refurbished on Amazon for $379). The new model will also ship with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage but will feature premium Pantone color options: Orient Blue and Sporting Green. Epto lists the Edge 70 Fusion at approximately €479 (around $573), positioning it as a more premium option within Motorola's 2026 lineup.
The leaked promotional images from Evan Blass provide the first official-looking glimpses of these devices, showing consistent design language across the G-series with clean lines and modern aesthetics. The images confirm the color options mentioned by Epto and suggest Motorola is maintaining its focus on offering variety in finishes to appeal to different consumer preferences.
This pricing strategy reveals Motorola's approach to the competitive mid-range smartphone market: offering multiple tiers with clear differentiation, generous base specifications (8 GB RAM minimum across all models), and premium color options even at lower price points. The €100 gap between the G17 and Edge 70 Fusion creates distinct market segments, while the G77 fills the middle ground.
The timing of these leaks suggests Motorola may be preparing for a launch event in the coming weeks, as retailers typically receive pricing information and promotional materials well in advance of official announcements. With 5G becoming standard even in budget segments, Motorola's focus on storage capacity and design differentiation rather than just price competition could help the company maintain its position in the increasingly crowded mid-range smartphone market.
